Have you ever experienced the diverse culinary offerings of Europe? Many foodies go to great lengths just to experience the array of flavors, techniques, and ingredients that European gastronomy offers—from the refined elegance of French cuisine to the rustic charm of Italian dishes.

This new and first-ever restaurant in the Shophouse District of Capital Town brings this European palate closer to home.

Stanclik’s /stans•liks/ is a unique restaurant in Pampanga that offers a European-inspired menu, born from its passionate owners’ childhood dreams of Paris and life in France.

The minds behind it briefly lived in Saint-Tropez, France, and traveled throughout the continent which further developed their deep appreciation for its heritage, art, and cuisine. This is what they have embraced and gave influence to their entrepreneurial journey.

“We want to bring in Pampanga what we were able to experience in Paris.”

It all began with a search for the perfect spot to bring their dreams to life.

When they saw Capital Town, it was an instant connection. The Capital Town Clocktower reminded them of the Église Notre-Dame de l’Assomption, a beautiful Italian Baroque-style church in the heart of Saint-Tropez. To them, it didn’t feel like just another business district, it felt like home.

They started as a small bazaar vendor at the Clocktower Night Market in Capital Town, testing the waters with a variety of delectable crepe combinations, such as the Strawberry-Nutella Crepe—filled with fresh strawberries and rice krispies, wrapped in a thin, buttery crepe with crisp edges, drizzled with Nutella, prepared in front of you, and served warm.

Today, Stanclik’s is the first establishment to begin operations in the commercial portion of the township—the Shophouse District.

Most new cafés in Pampanga leaned towards minimalist aesthetics and menus. They couldn’t find a place that captured the complexity and warmth of European dining.

Chef Allan and the baristas, with their extensive experience in Dubai, worked closely with the owners to perfect Stanclik’s culinary vision. They not only mastered the art of flavor but also delved into the stories behind each dish and drinks.

If you want a taste of France, you should try the Steak Frites—it’s their national dish. Everywhere you go in France, whether it’s a boulangerie, brasserie, restaurant, or even a café, you’ll find it.”

Steak Frites at Stanclik'sSteak Frites is a 250g Australian Angus Ribeye seared in olive oil, garlic, chili, and rosemary. Served with fries, asparagus, shitake mushroom sauce or pepper corn sauce.

They also take great pride in their pasta dishes. One of which is the Seafood Marinara, made with prawns, clams, and squid, all cooked in red wine with fresh herbs and tomatoes.

“One bite of the Seafood Marinara, you close your eyes, you’re transported straight to Italy.”

When it came to dessert, the owners faced a real challenge. They wanted to move away from the typically sweet Filipino treats and offer something different. Enter the Strawberry Charlotte Cake—light, fruity, and less sweet for those looking for a slightly healthier alternative.

The establishment offers a feast for both your taste buds and your eyes, leaving you with a satisfied belly & a camera roll filled with photos perfect to share on your socials.

The Parisian aesthetic is evident in every corner of the restaurant  mixed with the owners’ artistic choices. One of them, a veterinarian by profession, is also a painter, which clearly shows on the paintings of animals hanging on the walls.

“Every artist’s dream is to have their art in a museum. Stanclik’s was an opportunity to fulfill that dream.”

The owners themselves painted parts of the restaurant, including a ceiling adorned with roses—a sentimental nod to their nostalgic memories.

Adding to the cozy charm is a small library that houses their personal collection of books, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a good read while sipping on their signature Tiramisu Latte.

Together with the team’s shared passion for good food and service—from the bartenders and chefs to the waitstaff and operations team, their collective dedication is reflected in every aspect of their offerings.

Stanclik’s is more than just a restaurant for them; it’s a dream that came to life. And with Capital Town being a place full of potential, they knew this is a township that resonates with their vision—to bring new experiences to the heart of Pampanga, one dish, one drink, and one detail at a time.
